Cooking Class Colombo begins with a visit to a local market to pick your desired ingredients. You will experience the traditional and authentic Sri Lankan way of shopping. Learn about the ethics of the local Sri Lankan food market that can’t be found in guide books. Your chef will explain how to pick the best spices and vegetables, as well as giving local insider tips. In addition, you can also select meat and fish, as well as tropical fruits for desert. Without a market trip, the Cooking Class Colombo experience is incomplete – it’s part of what makes this truly hands-on! However, please note that the local market is closed during national holidays.
